Welcome to Martha Gaskins Elementary School Library. I am a former classroom teacher, with a passion for reading.  I have a love for organization and I believe in using every resource possible to streamline operations to allow students as much independence as possible. My mission is to enrich the educational, recreation, and cultural life of our school through materials, information, and programs that foster a life long love of learning. I believe elementary school libraries are still an essential and critical component of student learning in this 21st century, therefore, I use resources that is designed to integrate the Common Core Standards into our elementary school library.
