Sun Valley Elementary was built in 1989 and opened for students in January 1990. The school is located in the Centerpoint area and serves Echo Highlands, Redstone, Apple Valley, and Winewood neighborhoods in Birmingham, Alabama. Sun Valley serves approximately 630 Pre-K through Fifth-grade students and consists of 28 classrooms.
