BCS VAL’s applications will open twice a year.  Applications will open for the next school year during the months of December through June during the BCS Specialty application season.   During the current academic school year, applications will reopen for the second semester from mid-November-through mid-December.     

Students must apply to attend BCS VAL. The criteria for acceptance are below: 

• On Track for Graduation 

• Academic History 

• Credentialing 

• Parental Agreement 

• Student Agreement  

Once accepted, virtual students must maintain a C average or better, maintain good conduct, and comply with the virtual attendance and academic policy.  Students who fail to meet the standards and expectations of a virtual student will be released to their zoned school.
