Mr. Stanley Sheffield's third grade class at West End Academy conducted a delicious science experiment this week -- planting their own radish garden! The project gave the scholars a hands-on experience in learning the scientific method.
The project provided a science experiment for third graders to learn essential elements in correlation of scientific reasoning using the scientific method. They will plant a variety of radish plants. Doing so will allow them to develop better problem solving skills and be analytical thinkers. They will complete this task using their research tools such as making observations, recording data, drawing conclusions and making decisions. Multi-tasking using teamwork and communication.
