Thousands of baseball fans poured into Birmingham this week for the MLB game at historic Rickwood Field and the tribute to the Negro Leagues. Birmingham City Schools' scholars had a close view of the historic event and an opportunity to meet many baseball greats. They also attended a star-studded luncheon with greats such as #ReggieJackson and comedian Roy Wood Jr., a BCS alum.
