Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am Mr. Brandon A. Davis, school administrator here at Malachi Wilkerson Middle School. I am a product of Birmingham City Schools, ranking in the top ten of my high school class and was elected senior class president. I am an alumnus of Miles College, where I graduated cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary English/Language Arts, and Walden University, where I graduated summa cum laude, with a Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership & Administration. Also, I am currently enrolled in the Ph.D. in Educational Management program at Hampton University.

I discovered my calling to teach at a very young age and realized that I possessed a passionate desire to inspire and illuminate the minds of others, through sharing the power of knowledge. As an educator, I believe that each and every child is more than capable of learning. However, it takes a competent, courageous and caring educator to cultivate what's already inside of them. During my tenure with Birmingham City Schools, I have served as an English/language arts, writing, reading and technology teacher. I have also served in several other capacities, including instructional leadership team member, P.E./U.A. team lead, PBIS team lead, school safety coordinator, 504 team member and Peer Helpers co-facilitator. Now, I have the privilege of serving as a school administrator, and I am excited to be a part of the Bison Nation!
