Message to Students and Parents
On behalf of the Counseling Department at George Washington Carver High School, we would like to take this time to offer well wishes and many blessings to our students and their families. We are living in historical times that will definitely be written in history books; however, I do know that this time has brought many uncertainties and confusion for us all. As we navigate through this uncharted territory, I want you to know that your counselors love and miss each and every one of you and we are remaining dedicated to your individual academic needs throughout this time.
Although, last school year ended abruptly, your principal, Dr. Hines, counselors, and teachers have been evaluating the most effective means to service our students and your unique needs while adhering to mandates from our state and local officials. The 2021 school year will begin on Tuesday, September 8th. Procedures will be announced weekly; therefore, it is imperative that we have your correct email address and contact on file. This allows us to keep you up to date on the lastest changes as the school year progress.
Please make an effort to reach out to your teachers, counselors or principals regarding assignments and protocols. We will all get through this together as a Ram family.
If you have any questions, please contact counselors at your earliest convenience.
