Hello.

My name is Janet Fields and I am the Library Media Specialist here at W.J. Christian K-8 School. I am a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College, Miles College, and the University of West Alabama. By background in education has afforded me the opportunity to teach at C.J. Going, Phillips Academy, and now W.J. Christian. Before transitioning to the Library Media Center I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade.

I am very excited to be a part of the W.J. Christian Family and look forward to not only exposing our students to all genres of books, but also to encourage them to develop a love for reading so that they will become lifelong readers and learners.

The mission of William James Christian K-8 School is to ensure that every students is prepared to compete in a vastly changing global society and become productive, lifelong learners by providing  a diverse, rigorous, and nurturing leaning environment; through positive and continuous collaboration among all stakeholders.
