Parker students perform tiny desk concert

Students and faculty at A.H. Parker High School held a “tiny desk concert” today in honor of Jason Langford, a long-time educator at the school who passed away earlier this year.

“Today’s concert was an opportunity to pay homage to Jason Langford. He was very instrumental in assisting with our technological needs. Mr. Langford approached me several times about planning a tiny desk. He expressed that this mini-concert would give our scholars a chance to shine. Although we never got a chance to do it together, I was hoping to design a tiny desk in his honor. I hope we made him proud,” said Ashley Hurst, music/choral teacher at Parker.
