WJPA

The JHPA morning announcements are student-produced and student presented as either a radio or closed circuit television broadcast under the call letters WJPA. Requirements for any 6th through 8th grader participating are: an overall “C” average, written permission from your parents and homeroom teacher, and exemplary history of behavior. Participation with the WJPA Broadcast Team requires arriving at school EVERY morning by 7:45 promptly to rehearse each day’s broadcast before it airs at 8:00am sharp.  

ALL WJPA broadcast team members undergo a one semester internship for training and vetting.
