Hours

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the library is not open for book check out or computer use.  Students can access books by selecting My On through Clever.  Directions for accessing My On can be found here.  Each PK-8 student should have been issued a device.  If you do not have a device, please contact Mrs. Tankersley at ctankersley@bhm.k12.al.us

Book Checkouts

General Guidelines

All books are checked out for two weeks. However, students may return books early and check out new materials.

If a student has a fine or overdue book, fines must be paid or books returned before he or she may check out another book.

 Kindergarten and First Grade

• One book

Second Grade

• One book; students may begin checking out two books in January

Third - Eighth Grade

• Two books

• Middle school book allowances may be adjusted depending on the need for additional materials

Fines

There are no fines for overdue books. 

However, there are fines for lost or damaged materials.  These fines are set by the purchase price.
