The Alabama School Counselor Association has designated R.C. Hemphill Elementary and Green Acres Middle School as 2024 Alabama School Counseling Program of Distinction.
The schools received recognition for exemplary applications which provided evidence of a school counseling programs that align with the Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Model for Alabama Public Schools and the American School Counseling Association National Model (4th edition).
"On behalf of everyone involved in this process, we are so proud to recognize your excellence in school counseling," said Cindy Davis, program coordinator for the Alabama School Counselor Association.
