The Local School Accounting (LSA) Department works with school bookkeepers, secretaries, and principals to maintain accurate financial records at the local school level. LSA provides training and support as it relates to the implementation and utilization of financial procedures and policies. LSA assists schools with day-to-day financial tasks, monthly reconciliations, and fiscal and calendar year-end close. LSA also works with the State Examiners during the annual audit and completes local school audits as needed.
