How Does It Work?

  • Students are assigned to a two- to three-day anti-bullying program.

  • The student must attend a documented mandatory four hours of training.

  • Parents must attend the initial two-hour training class with their child.

  • The program provides helpful resources to stop bullying.

Objectives?

  • Heighten awareness about bullying

  • Teach skills to intervene

  • Provide Knowledge about the effects of bullying

  • Distinguish what schools, parents and the community can do

  • Recognize the warning signs

  • Become a positive role model in the school and community

  • Improve behavior and create a school environment free from harassment, violence, threats of violence or intimidation
