This morning, Mayor Randall Woodfin visited Bush Hills STEAM Academy and sat down for an interview for an upcoming episode of The Steam Engine, a podcast produced by Ed Farm Student Fellows at the school.
The students took turn asking Woodfin questions that ranged from his job to his free-time activities. After the interview, the Mayor swapped roles and grilled the scholars about their aspirations and interests.
Bush Hills is one of six Birmingham City Schools participating in Ed Farm's iShare My Voice Challenge, where students create a podcast episode that addresses community storytelling through technology.
