Sean Ash, a Wenonah High School senior and the Jobs for Alabama’s Graduates Career Association State President, proudly represented Alabama at the National Student Leadership Academy (NSLA) in Washington, D.C., held December 5–7, 2024.
This prestigious event brought together student leaders from across the nation to develop leadership skills and foster connections.
In addition to his leadership at NSLA, Sean spearheaded a remarkable statewide sock drive through the JAG network. His efforts resulted in collecting an impressive 4,500 pairs of socks to benefit those in need. On December 10, 2024, Sean toured the Salvation Army Hope Center, where he donated 959 pairs of socks on behalf of JAGCA members, further demonstrating his commitment to service and community impact.
"Sean’s leadership and dedication inspire his peers and exemplify the positive change students can create in their communities," said Dana Marshall, JAG Specialist for Birmingham City Schools.
