The Parker Thundering Herd are going to need a bigger trophy case, because the team has now picked up numerous post-season individual awards to go with its 6A state championship trophy.
Defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford was named 6A Lineman of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association. His teammate, defensive back Na'eem Offord, was a finalist for 6A Back of the Year. Both Crawford and Offord, along with defensive lineman Robert Taylor and defensive back Timothy Merritt were also named to the Super All-State team by the organization.
Meanwhile, Head Coach Frank Warren earned Coach of the Year honors from CM Gridiron.
